Systems Process Engineer

Job Summary
The Systems Process Engineer will be involved in developing software across all our platforms and creating new products and capabilities, contributing to all aspects of product engineering within the team and taking the lead on creating software components for our current and future products.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage drafted system solutions from the KNAPP Software consulting department.
- Discuss each drafted logistical / customer requirement at external and internal workshops
- Communicate and share information with multiple stakeholders (customer, MHE departments, SW development, SW Start-up)
- Creation of Process specification based on Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN), KNAPP’s Software engineering process
- Focus on workflows from KNAPP products
- Focus on logistical requirements (BPMN model from SW Consulting)
- Business processes based on logistical requirements and aligned with system design and control concepts.
- Realisation of processes based on KiSoft standard capabilities
- Control concepts based on standard capabilities KNAPP SW and technology
- Creation of Interface specification
- Creation of internal documents for departments engaged in project realisation
- Creation of test cases for phases (FAT, KIT)
- Creation of ZDRs (development requests)
- Management of alignment meetings (MHE) Update of specification documents during project realisation phase
- Alignment of system design and SW processes
- Responsibility to advise a case of deviation to sold scope
- Coordination of SW partners in relation to KNAPP’s SW scope
- Support of new employees
Skills, qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience
- Excellent skills using modern C++
- Excellent understanding of workflows of the logistic solution based on given design
- Excellent understanding of system integration (KNAPP into customer environment)
- Ability to manage and realise meetings (internal, external)
- Technical base knowledge (Information technology, logistics)
- Computer knowledge (MS Office, KNAPP internal tools)
- Language (min. German, English; additional language appreciated)
