WHAT YOU GET TO DO
The Director of Project Management is responsible for ensuring that their team members follow processes and instructions and complete all tasks and job duties to facilitate a successful project implementation for our company and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Assigns Project Directors and Site Management team members to projects based on their knowledge and experience level
- Approves all project handover meetings from Sales together with the SVP Project Management
- Defines Project Director and Site Management processes such as project start, project controlling, escalation management and project close out together with Project Directors, Site Management team and SVP Project Management
- Knowledge transfer from Sales to Project Directors and Site Management team
- Validates project goals with Project Directors and Site Management team
- Supports the project schedule creation process with Project Directors and Site Management team
- Reports contract related project schedule delays and changes to the SVP Project Management
- Defines an adequate project organization for each project with Project Directors and Site Management Team
- Defines project risks and measurements to reduce project escalations with Project Directors and Site Management team
- Execution of project marketing together with Project Directors and Site Management team
- Creation and continuous improvement of Project Director and Site Management policies and procedures for the project director and Site Management team together with the SVP Project Management
- Controls project status and measurements on all projects with Project Directors and Site Management team
- Development of project management organization and culture together with Project Directors and Site Management team members
- Creation of project progress reports together with Project Directors and Site Management team, weekly update report to the SVP Project Management
- Escalation and Damage Management controlling with Project Directors and Site Management team
- Proper project close out and handover to Customer Service with Project Directors and Site Management team
- Fulfills strategic company and department goals from the SVP Project Management
- Hire and train new Project Management team members
- Onboarding of new Project Management team members
- Coaching of Project Directors and Sr. Project Managers during critical projects
- Execution of major projects as assigned by the SVP Project Management

Working Conditions and Environment:
- Work Overtime as required.
- Travel, if required.
- Professional office etiquette is required at all times.
- Physical requirements may be:
- Sitting, squatting, walking, reaching out to arm’s length, reaching over-head, lifting between 50-100 pounds, and reading.
