WHAT YOU GET TO DO

 

This role is a player/coach and will help oversee planning, developing, and managing talent acquisition and recruitment processes and strategies. The Lead Talent Partner coaches their team to align Knapp’s Talent and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion strategies with hiring decisions. The ideal candidate is an exceptional leader and has a strong commitment to the collective business and individual success of their team.

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead and develop a team of Talent Partners, ensuring the team has a high level of impact on the business as a whole
  • Drive the execution of the recruitment process
  • In partnership with the VP HR and HRBPs, develop overall sourcing and recruitment strategies and plans
  • Directly partner with a business unit or subunits with similar recruitment needs
  • Build a strong knowledge of organizational structure and the functions of supported business units
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships and communication with business leaders to learn specifics about the business, become familiar with standard positions and anticipate hiring needs
  • Analyzes relevant data and trends to provide insight and set plans and tactics to meet hiring goals
  • Lead in assuring consistency of recruiting policies and procedures to ensure efficiency of the interview and hiring process and to improve candidate experience
  • Share ideas and collaborate on implementing strategies related to recruitment of talent that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company
  • Manage recruitment system, vendors and tools
  • Oversight of University Relations and coordinating of campus career fair events
  • Recommend and track recruiting KPI’s

 

 

WHAT YOU HAVE

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2 years of experience in a lead or supervisory role with a proven track record of developing individuals on a team
  • 7 years of experience in a Talent Acquisition Partner role with corporate recruiting experience including sourcing and full life cycle recruiting
  • Experience sourcing and closing in a competitive marketplace
  • Excellent interpersonal, influence, decision-making, negotiation and written and verbal communication skills required
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, be flexible and adapt to changing environments
  • Attention to detail with a passion for getting the job done
  • Results-Oriented and data driven; constantly finding ways to improve productivity, and efficiency
  • Ability to develop a highly motivated and successful team through coaching

 

Working Conditions and Environment:

 

  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Passport or ability to obtain passport
  • Professional office etiquette is required at all times
  •   Travel required 10%
  • Physical requirements: sitting for long periods of time, standing, walking, climbing a ladder, speaking, visual acuity, finger dexterity, listening, reaching at arm’s length, and lifting to 10 pounds
