KNAPP AG Data Privacy Policy
Information as per art. 13 GDPR
I am aware that my personal data provided voluntarily in this form is collected, processed and used by the KNAPP AG within the specifications of the data protection regulations for the application procedure I have chosen for the purpose of saving, evaluating, assigning and forwarding my application.
The controller as defined by the applicable data protection law is the respective subsidiary of the KNAPP group given in the job advertisement, but for all other issues is:

In principle, the information provided will not be passed to companies outside of the KNAPP group, subject to the use by third party provider SAP to provide the recruitment platform (SAP SuccessFactors).
The data is only transferred to third parties where necessary for the job application process and as long as the statutory obligations for this can be guaranteed. The potential recipients of the data are the companies of the KNAPP group found at this link.
Since staff assignment within the KNAPP group is always carried out as a cooperation between the Personnel Department and the respective functional department, personal data can be forwarded within the KNAPP group between the Personnel Department and the responsible functional department. This processing within the KNAPP group is carried out on an ad-hoc basis solely for the purpose of finding suitable applicants for advertised job vacancies. We expressly state that, apart from the candidate, only authorized persons of the KNAPP group have access to the disclosed information.
The disclosed information can, at least in part, be processed in countries outside the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA) in which a company of the KNAPP group operates. Personal data is transferred to third countries (those outside the EU or EEA) exclusively in accordance with the applicable provisions of Chapter V of the GDPR. Provided that the transfer to a third country takes place without an adequacy decision pursuant to Article 46 of the GDPR, the transfer is based on the standard contractual clause pursuant to Article 46 of the GDPR in conjunction with the Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914.
Data retention period
The processing of personal data is necessary for the fulfilment of contractual or pre-contractual obligations related to the application process (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Personal data that is processed for the stated purpose – to apply for a specific job opening – will be saved for the applicable statutory retention period after the job vacancy is filled. We would like to point out that no automated decision-making will take place during the application process (Article 13(2)(f) GDPR).
Subject to my consent, the disclosed personal data will be stored for a maximum period of 3 years in a pool of applicants so that my application can be considered for future vacant positions within the KNAPP group.
I have the opportunity, free of charge, to view, change or delete my personal data online through my user account at any time. I can also submit an informal request for change or deletion at any time. My personal data will no longer be used once the data is deleted through my user account or my consent is revoked.
As data subject, I have the right to access, rectify, delete and transfer the data as well as to object to or limit the data processing.
Furthermore, I have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. The respective competent supervisory authority is that having the local jurisdiction for the KNAPP group subsidiary.

Declaration of consent as per Article 7 GDPR
I hereby declare my express consent that my personal data in my application profile may be stored in a pool of applicants for at most 3 years for the purpose of considering my application for further vacant positions within the KNAPP group.
This does not apply to users of the recruitment platform who select their place of residence as within the USA when creating their profile and apply for a position with KNAPP Inc, based in the USA. According to the applicable statutory provisions, this information can be saved indefinitely.
I am aware that my consent is recorded.
